Energy saving steps: Govt decides to close bazaars at 8:30pm across country

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The government has decided to close bazaars at 8:30pm across the country.

The decision was made during a meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday.

The chief ministers agreed to the decisions of the federal cabinet regarding the countrywide steps to save energy.

During the meeting, the chief ministers were informed about the decisions and proposals to save energy.

However, Sindh, Punjab and Balochistan sought two days to hold consultation over the issue.
