ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said that she accepted the challenge of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbassi. In a tweet on Tuesday, Firdous Ashiq Awan accepted the challenge of PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbassi, adding that the traces of theft are going to Britain and these will lead us to many other countries. “Many more disclosures are yet to surface. It is the first government which is bringing the plunderers to task. The plundered amount will be recovered as it is the case of 22 crore people,” the special assistant affirmed.   In another tweet, Firdous Ashiq Awan said, “There is lot of contradiction in words and deeds of leader Shehbaz Sharif.” She also recalled that Shehbaz Sharif used to say that he will drag former president Asif Ali Zardari on the roads but he has hugged him now. She also reminded that the PML-N president had also announced to quit politics on proven guilty in corruption cases, adding that Shehbaz had also promised to change his name on failing to end load shedding in six months but he forgot this promise too.   A day earlier, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif will file a lawsuit against Daily Mail for publishing baseless news. Talking to the media in response to Shahzad Akbar’s press conference on Monday, he said that the publication of the news against the Sharif family in Daily Mail is the ‘achievement’ of Shahzad Akbar. He said that Shehbaz Sharif will nominate Prime Minister Imran Khan and Adviser to PM on Accountability Shahzad Akbar in the lawsuit against Daily Mail in the British court. “The rulers have reached to such extent in personal vendetta. They area least bothered about the country,” he said. “If the rulers want to make a case, then they should include Musharraf, as well as EERA, is being funded from his tenure.” Shahid Abbasi said that it was not duty of Shahzad Akbar to hold press conferences, but to give the proofs. “He should present the proofs to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) about the money misappropriated by Shehbaz Sharif,” he said.
