Fomer health minister Amir Kayani given a clean chit by NAB

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has given a clean chit to former health minister Amir Kiyani.

According to a report, the NAB has removed Amir Kayani name from reference list on the basis of lack of evidence.

Sources in the NAB say that Amir Kayani did not increase the price of medicine; it was increased by Shahid Khaqan Abbasi's cabinet.

Aamir Kayani was the federal minister for Health from August 2018 to April 2019.

The prime minister had removed Amir Kayani from office on April 18, 2019 following the allegations.

Kayani was accused of illegally increasing the prices of medicines.

NAB Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal had directed the NAB Rawalpindi to conduct an inquiry against the PTI general secretary and Amir Kayani.
