Govt mulls closure of business activities at sunset

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The government is considering closure of the business activities at the sunset.

According to sources, the government has started consulting the business chambers, federations and traders' organizations on the energy saving plan.

The administration of all the four provinces will get the decision implemented from October 1 to February 15. The sources said that the decision will save 1,500 megawatts of energy daily.

The previous government had also announced early closure of the business activities, but the decision could not be implemented.
