Imran Khan arrested in Rs60 billion corruption case: Rana Sanaullah

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said that PTI chairman Imran Khan has been arrested in the Rs60 billion corruption case.

Addressing a press conference in response to arrest of Imran Khan on Tuesday, he said that the Rs60 billion amount was the trust of the people and it was to return to Pakistan from the United Kingdom.

"Former accountability adviser Shahzad Akbar received his share of Rs2 billion from the said amount. The property in the name of the Al-Qadir Trust is worth Rs5-7 billion. Imran Khan and his wife are the trustees of the Al-Qadir Trust," he declared.

The minister said that Imran Khan faces dozens of cases, including the NAB inquiries. "There is no need for a long investigation. Imran Khan sold out the Toshakhana watch on the fake receipt. Farah Goggi sent Rs12 billion abroad," he added.
