Imran Khan asks people to be ready to come out in streets to save rule of law
LAHORE (92 News) - PTI chairman Imran Khan has said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had stormed the Supreme Court to attack then CJ Sajjad Ali Shah hearing a contempt petition against Nawaz Sharif in 1997.
In a message on Twitter on Friday, he said that the PML-N is again threatening the Supreme Court and Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial because they are petrified of the elections. I want people of Pakistan to be ready to come out in streets if need be to save the rule of law, the constitution and democracy.
