India, Pakistan agree to resolve matters related to diplomats’ treatment: FO
ISLAMABAD (92 News) –India and Pakistan have mutually agreed to resolve matters related to the treatment of diplomats and diplomatic premises.
Dr Muhammad Faisal, the spokesman for the Foreign Office, said that the matters would be resolved in line with the 1992 'Code of Conduct' for treatment of Diplomatic/Consular personnel in India and Pakistan.
Pakistan said that there had been 26 instances of harassment and intimidation of its diplomats since March 7, following which Pakistan High Commissioner Sohail Mahmood was called back for discussions on the issue.
