Intermittent rain continues most parts of Punjab
LAHORE (92 News) – Intermittent rain continued in most areas of the Punjab including Lahore Monday, which turned weather chilly again.
According to the details, rain and cold winds have increased cold in various cities of Punjab including Lahore and the hilly areas are also covered in snow.
Intermittent rain, which started from previous day, brought city life to a standstill. Rainwater remained on city roads and all major roads, residential and commercial localities, playgrounds, stadium, graveyards, bus stands and public parks were filled with rainwater.
Meanwhile snowfall in mountainous areas has drawn everyone to northern areas. Tourists flooded in Murree and over the weekend 45425 vehicles entered the city. Snow in Quetta, Ziarat and Fort Saifullah also attracted tourists.
According to Met office, Jhang recieved 06mm, Lahore (City 05mm, A/P 03mm), Sargodha, Kot Addu 03mm, Bhakkar, Okara, TT Singh, Faisalabad, Hafizabad 01mm.
Today, rain is expected in Rawalpindi, Chakwal, Jhelum, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Narowal, Sialkot, Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Sargodha, Sahiwal and Bahawalnagar.
