It’s government’s task to control inflation, says Uzma Bukhari

LAHORE (92 News) - Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari has said that it is government’s task to control inflation.

Addressing a press conference on Saturday, she said that the prices of bread and four had been reduced in the province. “The method of Maryam Nawaz’s rule is distinct. Several new projects are being launched in the history of Punjab,” she added.

The minister said that the government was going to establish the Punjab Enforcement Authority that would be responsible to implement the prices of the daily-use items.

Punjab Minister for Food Bilawal Yasin said that the wheat reserves are being monitored strictly. “The opposition used to make fun of the ‘roti’ price. Everyone has the right to do positive criticism. However, no permission will be granted to use indecent language,” he added.
