JIT declares PTI chairman guilty of May 9 incidents

LAHORE (92 News) - The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) has declared the PTI chairman guilty of the May 9 incidents.

The JIT has submitted the report to the Lahore anti-terrorism court. According to the report, the PTI chairman has been found guilty of the May 9 incidents.

Cases have been registered against the PTI chairman at the Sarwar Road, Gulberg and Shadman police stations.

Talking to the media, Special Prosecutor Farhad Ali Shah said that the investigations had been completed to the extent of cancellation of the interim bail of the PTI chairman. He said that the arrest of the PTI chairman and his mobile phone is needed to complete the investigations.

He said that the investigation was forwarded by using the modern equipment. "The PTI chairman will undergo the photogrammetric and audiosonic tests. We will request the court to cancel his bail on August 8," he added.

On the other hand, former Prime Minister's Principal Secretary Azam Khan appeared before the Rawalpindi NAB and recorded his statement in the £190 million scam. The NAB team put questions about the alleged corruption case of Al-Qadir Trust.
