Judicial reforms act: SC orders to submit record of parliamentary proceedings by tomorrow

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Supreme Court has ordered to submit the record of the parliamentary proceedings of the Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Act, 2023 by Tuesday.

The government appealed to the court for forming a full court to hear the case.

Hearing the case, Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial remarked that apparently it does not seem the government case so that the full court should be formed.

Justice Ayesha Malik observed that any bench of the Supreme Court should hear any case. "Does the government want to benefit from this case?" she questioned.

Justice Mazahar Naqvi observed that how the legislation can be made in the presence of the Article 184.

Later, the court adjourned the case for three weeks.
