Karachi Ulema Committee announces countrywide strike, protest on Friday

KARACHI (92 News) – After the passage of deadline given for the arrest of the killers of Maulana Adil, the Karachi Ulema Committee has announced the countrywide strike and protest on Friday.

The decision was made during a meeting of Ulema at Jamia Banoria on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Maulana Allah Dad said that Ulema had not left patience. "Why have the killers of Maulana Adil not been arrested? Which government will provide us with justice?"

Meanwhile, the traders community has assured of supporting the strike. They said that the government could arrest the accused from Afghanistan. "Why has the government not arrested the killers of Maulana Adil?" he questioned.
