Khawaja Asif asks judiciary to leave some legacy for remembrance

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said that there is an appeal to the judiciary to consider something and to leave some legacy by which they will be remembered.

Speaking in the National Assembly, he said that the PTI chairman encouraged the workers to attack the state. "There were attacks on martyrs' memorials and army installations. What could be a greater crime for a state and nation than this?"

Khawaja Asif aid that the people involved in attacks on military installations will be tried in military courts and heinousness of their crime would be observed.

He said that during the previous regime, people were sentenced by military courts. "A message should be sent from the House that we will not compromise on our honour and dignity," he added.
