PESHAWAR (92 News) – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided not to conduct the coronavirus test of all passengers coming from abroad. In a letter issued by Chief Secretary Kazim Niaz on Tuesday, he said that as per decision made by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), only the passengers showing symptoms of coronavirus during the screening will have to undergo the test. The letter says the passengers showing no symptom would be allowed to leave for their homes and put in home quarantine for 14 days. It said that the presence of doctors and medical teams would be ensured at airports. The screening and monitoring of all passengers would be ensured. Meanwhile, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Minister Ajmal Wazir has appealed to the people recovering from the coronavirus pandemic to donate their plasma. He said that coronavirus patients are recovering through plasma. “We will defeat coronavirus wuth our national resolve and collective responsibility,” he added.
