DIG Shariq Jamal mysteriously found dead in his house in Lahore

LAHORE (92 News) - DIG Shariq Jamal was mysteriously found dead in his residence in DHA area in the early hours of Saturday.

The police have handed over the body to his relatives after the autopsy. According to the police, DIG's relatives have refused to take any legal action.

However, the police have started investigations from different angles after arresting a man and a woman.

According to the arrested woman, Sharis Jamal's condition deteriorated after consuming anti-depressant medicines. He was shifted to hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.

Moreover, the police have recorded the statements of his personal employees.

DIG Shariq Jamal also served as DIG Traffic and DIG Railways. He had recently returned after completing his course for promotion to BS-21. He was an Officer on Special Duty (OSD) these days.
