Lahore NAB decides to arrest Punjab former CM Usman Buzdar

LAHORE (92 News) - The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has decided to arrest Punjab former chief minister Sardar Usman Buzdar in the assets beyond means case.

The decision has been made for not appearing before the NAB in the case. The NAB had summoned Usman Buzdar on Monday. He has so far appeared before the NAB only twice despite being summoned for 14 times.

Sources said that Umsan Buzdar could be arrested during the inquiry.

He faces the charge of accumulating assets worth Rs9 billion and misappropriation in the contracts. An inquiry regarding export of wheat is also underway against him.
