Law is different for rich dacoits and the poor in a banana republic: PM Imran Khan

PESHAWAR (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan performed the ground-breaking ceremony of Naya Pakistan Housing project in Jalozai on Wednesday.

He also planted a sapling on the occasion. The prime minister was briefed about the project.

Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that there is a different law for the poor and the rich dacoits in a banana republic.

He said that the meaning of the rule of law to make the powerful obedient to the law. "The powerful does not want to obey the law. Sometime it forms the alliances like the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM)."

"The government was trying to full protection to the poor and construct houses for the community lacking money. I pay tribute to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for issuing the health cards," he said.

He said that there was no health insurance even in the richest countries. "The nation following the principles of the Riyasat-e-Madina will definitely make progress," he maintained.
