LHC CJ forms committee to review arrangements to curb coronavirus

LAHORE (92 News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan has formed a committee to review arrangements to curb coronavirus. The committee led by Justice Ameer Bhatti will comprise of Justice Aatir Mahmood, Justice Asjad Javed, Lahore sessions judge and the District Judiciary DG. The committee will review the protective measures against coronavirus made in courts across the province. Chief Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan will preside over the meeting on March 24. IGP Punjab Shoaib Dastgir and the Health secretary will also attend the meeting. On the other hand, the Islamabad sessions judge has nominated two judges for the release of prisoners. Both judges have been directed to devise the method for the release of prisoners with the deputy commissioner.
