LHC dismisses PTI founder's plea against rejection of nomination papers

LAHORE (92 News) - The Lahore High Court on Wednesday rejected the plea of the PTI founder against the rejection of his nomination papers.

A three-member bench headed by Justice Ali Baqar rejected the plea.

The court upheld the verdict of the returning officer and the tribunal. The PTI founder had challenged the rejection of his nomination papers from NA-89 and NA-122.

Moreover, the court also rejected the applications of PTI leaders Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Fawad Chaudhary, Hammad Azhar, Sanam Javed and Ammar Yasir.
