Mashal Khan killed by gunshot: autopsy report

MARDAN (92 News) – The postmortem report of young Mashal Khan of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan reveals that he was killed by a gunshot.  

Several accused nominated in the case have been arrested. The nabbed eight accused have been handed over to police on an eight-day remand. 

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has signed the summary for a judicial inquiry into Mashal's killing.  

The chief minister assured provincial assembly that a judicial committee will be constituted to investigate the incident. 

Responding to a point of order of Awami National Party Leader Sardar Hussain Babak, he said those responsible for the violence and killing a student will be brought to justice.

Khattak said no one would be allowed to take law into his own hand, and added that no evidence of blasphemy has been found.
