Money laundering case: Ch Pervaiz Elahi sent to jail for 14 days

LAHORE (92 News) - Magistrate Ghulam Murtaza Virk on Wednesday rejected the plea seeking physical remand of PTI president Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi and sent him to jail for 14 days.

Talking to the media informally, Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi said that the police and the FIA had committed contempt of court by not following the orders of the Lahore High Court.

"I am not being given any facility. I am wearing the same clothes that I was wearing at the time of my arrest," he added.

On the other hand, Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi has moved the LHC to get the protective bail and details of the cases.
