MQM-P's Ra'na Ansar appointed as Opposition Leader in Sindh Assembly

KARACHI (92 News) - Ra'na Ansar of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) was appointed as Opposition Leader in the Sindh Assembly on Wednesday.

Ra'na Ansar enjoyed the support of 39 members, out of 69.

Meanwhile, Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani issued a notification regarding her appointment. He along with other members congratulated Ra'na Ansar on her appointment.

Opposition Leader in the Sindh Assembly Ra'na Ansar thanked the GDA and PTI members for extending support. As many as 10 members of the GDA and eight members of the PTI had signed the requisition for the opposition leader.

After her appointment, Haleem Adil Sheikh has been de-notified.
