KARACHI (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan has said that the NA-246 by-poll will decide the future of Karachi. Addressing a press conference at the residence of the PTI leader Arif Alvi on Saturday, he said that he wished Rangers not allow anyone create fearful atmosphere at polling stations. “Our talks with the Jamaat-e-Islami had been going on, but they want to play the match,” he maintained. Imran Khan said that the people of Karachi have left for abroad after leaving their businesses. “The MQM should not spread fear and let people live free.” He appreciated the PTI candidate Imran Ismail, saying that he (Imran Ismail) was attacked but he remained steadfast. The PTI chief linked the country’s progress to the progress of Karachi. He said that 21 political parties had talked about rigging. “We will approach the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) if the MQM formed ghost polling stations,” he said. “The ECP is under great pressure.” Imran Khan said that the oppressor got benefit in the country, while the oppressed community was crushed. “People have been divided in the country. We want to play together and do not want to divide the country.” He said that a new Pakistan will be created when all people will work jointly. PTI candidate Imran Ismail said that they kept their camp closed for one day due to the MQM meeting. PTI vice-chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that they had provided solid proofs of rigging to the judicial commission. “We are fully prepared with regard to the judicial commission,” he added.
