NADRA Chairman Tariq Malik resigns, PM accepts resignation

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) Chairman Tariq Malik tendered his resignation on Tuesday.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has accepted the resignation of Tariq Malik.

He has resigned keeping in view the tense political situation in the country. According to a copy of the three-page resignation obtained by 92 News, Tariq Malik has informed about the details of the projects.

He recommended that the post of the NADRA chairman should not be given to a serving or retired bureaucrat.

According to sources, the name of Tariq Malik has been put on the stop list temporarily.
