Nation's anger, reaction to PTI chairman's arrest is natural: Shah Mahmood Qureshi

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PTI vice-chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that the nation's anger and reaction to the arrest of the PTI chairman is natural.

In a message on Saturday, he said that the right of workers and the people to the protest cannot be suppressed. "We will move ahead in the light of the decisions made by the core committee and consultation of the lawyers," he added.

He said that all of them would fight for the release of the PTI chairman.

Asad Umar said that the court verdict does not come up with the basic principle of the law. "We should see the justice being done."

He said that the decision would have no standing in the apex courts. "Meaningful decisions about politicians are made in the hearts of the people, not in courts," he maintained.
