RAWALPINDI (92 News) - DG ISPR Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary has declared that neither there is a change nor will be in army’s stance on May 9.

Addressing a press conference on Monday, he said that the narrative of disappointment and anarchy was being coined and the creators of the narrative wanted to create a rift in the army and the people.

The DG ISPR said that the law was the first defence line against digital terrorism. “Unscrupulous people are talking against the country and institutions. Too much investment is being made on such people. Why do such people not make the narrative of the progress of the country if they are too much concerned? Action will be taken against the fake news and propaganda,” he added.

Baloch Raji Muchi is proxy of terrorists and criminals

DG ISPR Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary said that the Baloch Raji Muchi is a gathering of terrorists and criminals. “It is their agenda to chalelenge the writ of the state and spread instability. We know very well who is running the campaign abroad from Balochistan. These proxies are spreading the lie on social media,” he added.

Armed forces support Kashmiris’ struggle for self-determination

The DG ISPR declared that Pakistan’s armed forces support Kashmiris’ struggle for self-determination. He said that Pakistan armed forces pay tribute to the martyrs of Indian Illegal Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K).

“It is inevitable to resolve the Kashmir dispute according to the resolutions of the United Nations for peace in the region. India has continuously been violating human rights in IIOJ&K,” he added.

The DG ISPR said that Pakistan had banned two terrorist organization. “The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has no relation with Islam. The banned TTP has been notified as Fitna-ul-Khawaraj,” he declared.

War will continue until elimination of last terrorist

Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary said that Pakistan’s successful war against terrorism would continue until elimination of the last terrorist. “During the last 15 days, over 2,000 operations were carried out against terrorists and 24 terrorists were sent to hell in these operations. A key Khawaraj terrorist was killed in DG Khan,” he added.

The DG ISPR said that the government, the armed forces, law enforcement and intelligence agencies were fully active.

Army deposited Rs100 billion in kitty

DG ISPR Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary said that the Pak Army had deposited Rs100 billion under the head of taxes and duties in the national exchequer. “The Pak Army and its subsidiary institutions overall deposited Rs360 billion in the kitty,” he added.

He said that a mafia does not want to see progress in the country. “The army is trying to stop illegal trade in Pakistan. The Pak Army officers and jawans are not the elite of the country. The army is not forwarding a particular political thought, creed or religion in the country. How should we withdraw when a job is benefitting the country. Should we quit the work of education and health due to criticism?” he questioned.
