No decision yet to replace skipper Babar Azam: PCB chief

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Mohsin Naqvi said that no decision had been made to replace captain Babar Azam.

In an informal conversation on Thursday, he said that decisions made in haste often are harmful. “Those responsible for the T20 World Cup team selection and making wrong decisions will be held accountable,” he added.

The PCB chairman said that everything will be known which player was acting upon instructions in the dressing room and which was not.

He said that he was in contact with former players whose only job is to speak. “Decisions on a change in the domestic cricket will be made soon,” he added.

Mohsin Naqvi said that venues for the Test series against Bangladesh include Multan, Karachi and Rawalpindi. “We have received a positive report about Test captain Shah Masood from the people,” he maintained.
