Pakistan has to make progress, no power in world can stop it: COAS Asim Munir

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir has said that Pakistan has to make progress and no power in the world can stop it.

Addressing the Green Pakistan Seminar on Monday, he said that Pakistan has all types of potential that can take Pakistan to the top position.

"We have gathered here to make Pakistan green again. Allah Almighty has blessed Pakistan with many blessings. We are a talented nation. It is required that we should contribute to the development of Pakistan. We, as an institution, assure all-possible cooperation for the economic development of the country," he declared.

Referring to the Holy Quran, the COAS said: "Do not despair of Allah's mercy and only disbelievers despair of Allah's mercy. There are only two states for Muslims – patience in adversity and gratitude in happiness," he added.
