Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan express commitment to further strengthen bilateral cooperation

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan have expressed their commitment to further strengthen the bilateral cooperation in political, economic, trade and defense sectors.

This commitment was expressed at a meeting between Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and his Kyrgyz Counterpart Ruslan Kazakbaev on the sidelines of Antalya Diplomatic Forum in Turkey.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi said Pakistan desires early completion of important projects like CASA 1000 to enhance cooperation in energy sector.

The foreign minister highlighted the aspect of regional connectivity and integration as its important components and underlined shortest access to the sea for Central Asian states through Gawadar and Karachi ports.
