Pakistan records highest coronavirus deaths in three months, 1,376 new cases reported

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan recorded highest coronavirus deaths in three months on Friday.

According to the data available with the National Command and Control Operation (NCOC), 30 patients died of COVID-19 during the last 24 hours.

As many as 1,376 new cases were reported during this period. As a result, the number of active cases has reached to 16,242.

Total infections so far in the country are 340,252, while 317,086 people have recovered.

In total, 148,343 cases have been reported in Sindh, 105,856 in Punjab, 40,148 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 20,976 in Islamabad, 4,332 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 16,033 in Balochistan and 4,572 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
