BIRMINGHAM (92 News) - A Pakistani wrestler and sprinters stormed into the finals of the Commonwealth Games on Saturday.

Wrestler Sharif Tahir defeated his rival from New Zealand in the semi-final of the 74kg category. In the 57kg category, Asad Ali suffered a defeat at the hand of his Indian rival.

In the 97kg category, Tayab Raza was defeated by his Canadian rival. Sprinter Shajjar Abbas qualified for the final of the 200m race.

On Friday, wrestler Inam Butt and Zaman Anwar had won the silver medal, while Inayatullah got the bronze medal.
