Pakpattan DPO transferred for not issuing VIP pass for Urs to an influential family

LAHORE (92 News) - District Police Officer Pakpattan Ibadat Nisar was shown the door on Friday for not issuing VIP pass for Harzat Baba Fareed Ganj Shakkar (RA) Urs as  demanded by an influential family. Punjab police chief Captain (retired) Arif Nawaz Khan transferred SP Ibadat Nisar and ordered him to report to the Central Police Office (CPO). Though a handout issued by the Director Public Relation CPO didn't mention any specific reason behind the DPO's transfer, sources close to the development said. Earlier, DPO Usman Gondal was also transferred on the complaint of same family.
