Panamagate Case: Sheikh Rashid says Qatari Prince is PM’s Rescue 1122

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court has on Wednesday resumed hearing of Panamagate case against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family members. A five-member Bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Asif Saeed Khosa is hearing the case on daily basis. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawyer Naeem Bukhari completed his arguments. Presenting the arguments, the PTI Counsel said that Naeeem Bukhari reiterated that there is contradiction between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his son Hussain Nawaz’s statements. Naeem Bukhari said that a bearer certificate is not a prize bond and according to bearer certificate the Sharif family will have to produce evidence. During the proceedings, Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid while give his arguments said that Qatari Prince is like Rescue 1122 for the prime minister while his letter is like Razia Butt’s novel. The court filled with laughter on the arguments of Sheikh Rashid to which the court expressed anger. The AML chief said that the real face behind the case is Saifur Rehman, adding that the Port Qasim Power Plant project was given to Saifur Rehman. Meanwhile, presenting his arguments, the prime minister’s lawyer said that Nawaz Sharif is not mentioned anywhere in the Panama leaks. The court adjourned the hearing till tomorrow (Thursday).
