People will get a relief after IMF agreement, says Khurshid Shah

SUKKUR (92 News) - Federal Minister for Water Resources Syed Khurshid Shah has said that the people will get a relief after the agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

Talking to the media on Monday, he said that the government will complete its constitutional term. "The caretaker set-up will be introduced with consensus. The government can extend its tenure in the wake of emergency, which is inappropriate," he added.

He said that Balochistan faces water issues. "The spillways of Tarbela Dam have been opened after several years," he added.

On the other hand, a proposal has been given to dissolve the Sindh Assembly a few days before after the dissolution of the National Assembly. It is likely to be dissolved in the first week of August.
