ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leaders on Wednesday submitted a request in the National Assembly to issue production orders for Opposition Leader in NA Shehbaz Sharif. The PML-N leaders requested to ensure the presence of Shehbaz Sharif as President Arif Alvi has summoned a National Assembly session on October 29. The request letter signed by former NA speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Marriyam Aurangzeb, Tahira Aurangzeb, Zahra Wadoom Fatemi and Murtaza Javed Abbasi. The request application stated that as discussed, production orders of the leader of the opposition may kindly be issued for the upcoming session summoned to meet on October 29, 2018 so that he can attend the whole session without any convenience. The leader of the opposition in NA has been in the National Accountability Bureau custody since October 5 in the Ashiana Housing Scheme case. On the other hand, the PML-N lawmakers continued their protests on the consecutive fifth day outside the Punjab Assembly. The N league MPAs rejected the investigation committee and demanded the resignation of Punjab Assembly Speaker Pervaiz Elahi.
