PPP leader Rehman Malik passes away due to COVID-19
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Senior leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has passed away at the age of 70 due to COVID-19.
According to a report, Rehman Malik was on ventilator in a private hospital.
He served the country the country as Interior Minister from 2013 to 2018. Karachi University had granted him honorary degree of doctorate. He was considered as fellow of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
Meanwhile, Provincial Minister of Sindh for Local Governments Nasir Hussain Shah expressed grief on demise of PPP leader. He said that may Allah grant him higher ranks. “His death news was very shocking for me,” he added.
On the other hand, MPA Syed Hassan Murtaza said that hearing death news of former interior minister was very sad for him. “May Allah give him higher ranks in ‘Jannat ul Firdous’,” he maintained.
