Prices of daily-use items go beyond reach of common man before Ramazan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The prices of daily-use items, vegetables and fruit prices have gone beyond the reach of a common man ahead of Ramazan. Hoarders and profiteers have failed the steps taken by the government to check the price hike. The prices of vegetables, fruits and meat have been increased unchecked. According to the rate list, tomato was being sold at Rs 95 per kg, onion at Rs80 per kg, potato at Rs3 per kg. On the other hand, banana is being sold at Rs 150 per dozen, apply at Rs 300 per kg, water melon Rs 60 per kg, Cheeko Rs 120 per kg. Citizens said that the prices of daily-use items go beyond the reach of a common man and the government departments take no action against profiteers. They demanded that the government should take practical steps to give relief to the masses.
