PTI chairman moves SC seeking bail in cipher case

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PTI chairman Imran Khan filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking bail in the cipher case on Friday.

In the petition filed through Barrister Salman Safdar, the PTI chairman stated that there would be irreparable loss if he was not granted the bail. "No one can be denied freedom for an indefinite period," he contended.

He appealed to the court to declare the October 16 verdict of the Islamabad High Court null and void.

On October 27, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) had rejected the pleas of Imran Khan for bail and cancellation of the FIR in the cipher case.
