PTI gives call for countrywide peaceful protest against arrest of Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday gave the call for the countrywide protest against the arrest of party chairman Imran Khan.

Reacting to the arrest, PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi demanded that Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial should take notice of the arrest of Imran Khan.

"The Supreme Court should summon Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and inquire why Imran Khan was arrested," he added.

He said that the PTI central leaders have been called to Islamabad "We counter the arrest of Imran Khan at the legal and political front. All the five public meetings announced by the party will be held as per schedule," he added.
