ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The PTI leaders and federal ministers have decided to file a reference in the Supreme Court under Article 186, seeking interpretation of the Article 63A.

The decision was made during a consultative meeting presided over by Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday.

In a tweet after the meeting, Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhary said: "In the reference, opinion will be sought from the Supreme Court about the legal status of the party members who have either changed their loyalties for money or involved in horse-trading. Can the members who change their loyalties in exchange for economic interests be allowed to re-contest the election or their disqualification will be lifetime."

He said that the Supreme Court will be requested to hear the case on daily basis.

On Thursday, PTI estranged member Ramesh Kumar had revealed that 33 members, including three federal ministers, had left the party and would vote according to their conscience in the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
