Punjab CM, Nawaz Sharif review uplift projects in Murree

LAHORE (92 News) - Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and PML-N president Nawaz Sharif on Saturday reviewed Muree’s uplift projects, including beautification, transport and restoration.

During a meeting, it was agreed to the proposal of launching a tourist glass train project from Murree to Rawalpindi. It was also decided to hire services of internation consultant for the project.

It was decided to remove high-rise hotels and buildings creating hurdles in the scenic beauty of Murree.

The Punjab CM directed the authorities concerned to enforce a uniformed shape, sign and colour of ancient buildings on the Mall Road.

The meeting also decided to restore the old names of historical buildings.
