Punjab govt set to provide free travel facilities

LAHORE (92 News) - The Punjab government is set to provide free travel facilities for senior citizens, students, and individuals with disabilities.

According to official sources, the free travel facilities will be provided on the Orange Line Metro Train, Metro Bus Service, and Speedo buses in three cities, namely Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi.

The final approval from the government is now awaited by the Punjab Transport Department and the Masstransit Authority to officially launch the initiative.

Once approved, the initiative will prove to be a significant step towards improving travel facilities for senior citizens and the disabled across Punjab.
