Rallies mark Youm-e-Istehsal across country

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Rallies were taken out across country to mark the Youm-e-Istehsal to protest against India’s illegal actions taken on August 5, 2019.

In Islamabad, a rally was taken out from Foreign Office to D Chowk. A large number of people, including federal ministers, Foreign Office officers and their children. One-minute silence was observed by blowing siren to pay tribute to the struggle of the Kashmiris.

In Karachi, participants of a rally marched from People’s Secretariat to Mausoleum of the Quaid-e-Azam. Provincial Minister Nasir Hussain also participated in the rally. Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab led another rally to express solidarity with the Kashmiris.

In Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Speaker Babar Saleem and MPAs attended a rally. Addressing the participants, Babar Saleem said that Kashmiris cannot be suppressed through cruelty.

Meanwhile, rallies were also taken out in Lahore, Sukkur, Kasur, Faisalabad, Jhelum, Bahawalpur, Jaffarabad, Quetta, Harnai and Lasbella and other cities. The participants chanted slogans in favour of Kashmiris and against India.
