Rallies taken out on Yaum-e-Taqaddus-e-Quran across country

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Yaum-e-Taqaddus-e-Quran is being observed solemnly countrywide on Friday.

After the Friday prayers, the people are taking out rallies to lodge protest against the desecration of the Holy Quran.

Rallies are being taken out in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, Bahawalpur, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Shikarpur and Kandhkot. The protesters chnated slogans against the Swedish government. They also announced to boycott the Swedish products.

In Peshawar, journalists staged a protest demonstration outside Press Club. They chanted slogans against the Swedish government. 

They demanded that the OIC and international community should take concrete steps to stop religious mischief.
