NAB arrests PTI chairman Imran Khan from IHC in Al-Qadir Trust case

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested PTI chairman Imran Khan from the premises of the Islamabad High Court on Tuesday.

Imran Khan had reached the IHC when a Rangers team arrested him and took him away.

During the arrest, Imran Khan's guards and the police scuffled with each other. During the scuffle, several guards were severely injured. More contingent of police was summoned on the court premises.

According to sources, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has arrested PTI chairman Imran Khan in the Al-Qadir Trust case. Meanwhile, the IHC chief justice has taken notice of the arrest of Imran Khan from the premises of the IHC and summoned the IGP and Interior secretary. He also ordered the additional attorney general to appear before court.

The chief justice remarked that Imran Khan has been arrested from the court premises and immediately inform the court under whose order the arrest has been made.

After his arrest, a seven-member penal of doctors led by Dr Faridullah Shah conducted medical examination of Imran Khan. The penal included a cardiologist, an orthopedic and medical physicians.
