Rauf Hassan remanded in CTD custody for one day in explosive material case

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - An anti-terrorism court on Friday remanded PTI spokesperson Rauf Hassan in the custody of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) for one day.

The court announced the reserved verdict, ordering the CTD to again produce the PTI leader on Saturday.

The prosecutor had demanded the seven-day physical remand of Rauf Hassan.

On the other hand, Justice Tariq Mahmood Siddiqui of the Islamabad High Court ordered to remove the name of PTI leader Shibli Faraz from the exit control list. Meanwhile, the PECA Act court granted bail to PTI leader Ahmed Waqas Janjua in a case. The court ordered him to furnish the surety bonds worth Rs50,000.
