Shehbaz Sharif tests positive for coronavirus
LAHORE (92 News) – Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has tested positive for coronavirus.
This report was confirmed by PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb on Thursday.
Shehbaz, 69, a cancer survivor, is isolating at home, Aurangzeb said, adding that the PML-N leader was following his doctors' advice on how to fight the infection.
On the other hand, PML-N Secretary-General Ahsan Iqbal and PTI MPA from Sindh Khurrum Sher Zaman have tested positive for the deadly coronavirus, both leaders confirmed on their social media. “Today, when I got tested [for the coronavirus], the result came out positive,” Zaman, the president of the ruling PTI's Karachi chapter, wrote on Twitter. "As I was unwell, I had been in quarantine for the past five days," he noted.Sad to hear about the Covid-19 infection of PMLN's General Secretary Ahsan Iqbal. Iqbal, the PML-N leader, said he was quarantining himself for two weeks. "I request my friends and well-wishers to pray for my quick recovery," Iqbal wrote on Twitter.طبیعت خراب ہونے کی وجہ سے خود کو پچھلے پانچ دن سے کورنٹائن کیا ہوا تھا اور آج ٹیسٹ کروایا تو میرا رزلٹ مثبت آیا ہے.
