Sindh imposes complete ban on people’s movement for 15-days
KARACHI (92 News) – Heavy contingents of police and Rangers have been deployed across the Sindh as the province observes first day of complete ban on peoples’ movement due to coronavirus outbreak.
It is pertinent to mention here that the complete lockdown is imposed across the province for 15-days. During the lockdown, the people’s movement banned.
However, bakeries, milk shops and medical stores are open while the families have to take permission from area’s SHO before holding funeral prayers.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah had announced a lockdown across the province starting midnight for the next 15 days to stem the spread of coronavirus.
“There shall be a complete ban on movement of people including Intercity or Interprovincial travel or gatherings of any kind for social, religious, or any other purpose at any place, public or private, including all offices, public or private situated within the territorial limits of province of Sindh,” a notification issued by the home department read.
