Traders announce countrywide strike against hefty power bills on Sep 2

LAHORE (92 News) - Traders on Tuesday announced that they will observe a strike against hefty power bills across the country.

Talking to the media, Makazi Tanzeem Tajran Muhammad Kashif said that countrywide shutdown strike would be observed against unjustified increase in the electricity bills.

He said that the strike is an open rebellion against the privileged class. "We will not accept any lure, including the installment of bills," he added.

He demanded that the government should withdraw the cruel increase in the electricity bills. "All taxes imposed on the electricity bills should be withdrawn," he demanded.
