Transparent and impartial proceedings of foreign funding case will change history: Asad Umar

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar has said that Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is doing a historic job and the history of Pakistan will change if the proceedings of the foreign funding case are held in a transparent and impartial way.

Talking to the media after the hearing of the case, Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar said that the PTI had collected funds in a transparent way. “We are completely cooperating with the ECP. A committee has been formed regarding the funding of the PPP and the PML-N. Reports of three committees will be made public. Late Benazir Bhutto once had said that Nawaz Sharif got funding from Osama Bin Laden," he maintained. 

On the occasion, State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib pleaded the ECP to also hold public hearing of the funding cases of the PPP and the PML-N.
